Construction of Multiple Drainage pits along Kerferd Road, Albert Park

Project Description

This project involved the construction of 24 drainage pits integrated with existing 1350mm stormwater pipes to ensure a seamless connection with the current infrastructure. Key activities included the construction of openings in the Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) chamber and associated pipes to optimize water flow and debris management. The scope also extended to the reconstruction of residential footpaths, reinstatement of nature strips, and traffic management measures to minimize disruptions. The project outcomes included upgraded drainage systems and enhanced stormwater handling capabilities, significantly improving community resilience to flooding.
